A £1000 prize, sponsored by Carter Jonas, was awarded to the artist judged to have the best show of work in the exhibition.

The prize, awarded at the Private View on 31st August, went to Piers Browne.

The judges of the prize were Simon Palmer, a former Royal Academy judge and Jane Sellars, the doyenne of the Mercer Gallery in Harrogate and celebrated contributor to BBC 4's 'Front Row' programme.
