Artists exhibiting at the 2014 Great North Art Show will be judged by an independent panel for the following prizes:
£1000 - for Best Picture in Show. Donated by the Trustees on behalf of the Great North Art Show
£1000 - for the Best Body of Work
£750 - for the Best Collection of Small pictures

Ryedale artist, Kate Siddle, was awarded a prestigious £1000 Art Prize, sponsored by Carter Jonas, for the best body of work in the 2013 Great North Art Show. The prize was awarded by David Nobbs at the Private View on 30th August.
